Press Release | 0 comments

August 2023

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (August 4, 2023) — The City of Bullhead City announces that city staff and contractors will be undertaking several maintenance and capital improvement projects throughout the city during the week of August 7.

City staff will be sweeping streets as needed throughout the city.

A contractor will place rock along the south side of Silver Creek Road near SR-95 next week. The work will occur from August 6 until August 11, requiring the intersection to be closed from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. each night. A detour will be set up at the intersection of Silver Creek Rd and Gold Rush Rd. Motorists traveling from SR-95 to Bullhead Parkway are encouraged to use the Laughlin Ranch corridor.

Another contractor will continue rehabilitating the 16-2 wastewater lift station on Clubhouse Dr, west of Highway 95. The project involves installing Predl paneling to protect the well from corrosion. Upon completion at 16-2, the city will begin similar work at the 18-2 lift station, with the project expected to be completed in the Fall of 2023.

The City reminds the public to only flush human waste, toilet paper, and grey water down the drain. All other waste products should be disposed of through other means to avoid damage to the city’s infrastructure.

Residents are urged to use caution while traveling through City work zones and to obey posted signage and traffic control devices.

For questions about ongoing projects throughout the city, please contact Mackenzie Covert, Public Information Officer, at mcovert@bullheadcityaz.gov or (928) 763-0182.
