Husband and wife team Shaun Haynes and Rachel Myers are both veterans of the food industry.  Originally from El Segundo California, Myers assisted her husband with catering with their food truck business titled Fork Yeah.  Haynes also has experience as a food and beverage director with Queen Creek Olive Mill. The couple is now the proud owners of Benchmark Restaurant.
Previously, the restaurant has already participated in some of Lake Havasu’s most popular events such as Fright Night, Run to the Sun, London Bridge Days, and First Fridays. The restaurant provides catering services for your special events.  They are available for weddings, birthdays, anniversary parties, and can ensure that the event is memorable one.
Come discover their unique blend of flavors like the Ahi and Watermelon Poke.  The dish has yellowfin with spicy mayo, tamari garlic, ginger, scallion, and sesame seeds.  It’s then paired off with micro greens and jasmine rice. Meat and potato lovers can enjoy the restaurant’s Steak Frites choice.  This meal includes a flank steak and beef tallow fries.
Other added flavors are adobo honey compound butter, chimichurri, and sea salt. What seems to be the favorite for the locals is their fish and chips.  Benchmark takes Alaskan cod that they batter in parmesan panko crust.  The entree is accompanied with charred lemon, roasted jalapeno aioli, fennel-citrus slaw, and beef tallow fries. Are you hungry yet?
Benchmark has plenty of other menu items for you to savor such as their Bacon cheeseburger, Jasmine Rice Plate, their Steakhouse Salad and much more.  Currently, the restaurant is only accepting takeout orders.  You can also order online with services like DoorDash, Postmates, and Uber Eats.  Carryout orders can be placed by calling 928 302 1069.
Their outdoor area is overwhelmingly charming with a hint of festive yet cozy vibes. Customers can sit and enjoy the relaxing ambience while enjoying their flavorful menu items. Arizona AG joins FTC and coalition of states to challenge merger of Kroger & Albertsons supermarkets

Attorney General Kris Mayes, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and a bipartisan coalition of states, today announced the filing of a lawsuit that challenges the proposed merger of Kroger and Albertsons. These companies are the country’s two largest national supermarket chains, and this merger presents a significant risk of reduced competition and higher food prices nationwide. In Arizona, the two chains are the fourth and sixth largest employers, with a combined 35,000 employees across 250 stores. The companies also operate under Fry’s, Smith’s, and Safeway brands in Arizona.
