BULLHEAD CITY –Bullhead City elected officials, business persons, dignitaries and residents attended a ribbon cutting celebration for the new commercial boat-launch ramp at Community Park in early May.
The Community Park Commercial Launch Ramp is a new boat launch for use by businesses that utilize the Colorado River. Businesses that launch personal watercraft rentals, boats, repair companies, canoes and kayak rentals, and fishing companies will utilize the ramp. The launch ramp has two lanes into the ramp and one lane out. There are four spots to launch watercraft at the same time on the ramp. There is also a large turnout area for safety checks, watercraft prep, retrieval and exiting.

“The new commercial boat launch is a great addition to Community Park to ease up congestion at the public launch. The commercial companies will now have a dedicated boat launch for their business use. This will greatly ease up traffic congestion at Laughlin Ranch Boulevard for visitors that come to Community Park to enjoy the river and park,” said Public Works Director Angie Johnson.

In Arizona, the two chains are the fourth and sixth largest employers, with a combined 35,000 employees across 250 stores. The companies also operate under Fry’s, Smith’s, and Safeway brands in Arizona.
