Bullhead City Urges Business Community to Prepare for Busy Spring Season
BULLHEAD CITY – A busy spring tourist season is already under way in Bullhead City, with no signs in sight of a slowdown.
“Looking at all the events scheduled from now through the end of May, we might be in store for the biggest spring season we’ve ever had,” said City Manager Toby Cotter. “It’s important for our local businesses to be aware and prepare for all of the visitors we are expecting.”

This weekend Bullhead City welcomes high school softball athletes from across the southwest for the 27th Annual Mohave High School Dave Kopps Tournament of Champions. Forty-four softball teams comprising many of the nation’s best athletes will be bringing their coaches, family, and supporters to Bullhead City. “The team that wins this tournament will likely enter the softball season as the number one ranked team in the nation,” Cotter said. “It’s a big tournament, and it’s just one event happening this weekend.” The Paul Mauer Shows Carnival will also be in town in Gary Keith Park both this weekend and next weekend.
