October 2022

BULLHEAD CITY - On Sept. 4, 2022, the Bullhead City area experienced a severe windstorm causing significant damage to the power grid affecting a significant portion of and surrounding communities.

The Legacy Rehab & Care Center at 2812 Silver Creek Road was also negatively impacted by this power outage for a period of time. The Legacy Rehab & Care Center immediately initiated its emergency plan to keep all residents and staff safe, cool and hydrated until the power was restored.
During the power outage, there was an incredible outreach from the community to The Legacy Rehab & Care Center wanting to assist if needed. The Legacy wants to personally thank the following entities and individuals for reaching out to ensure our residents remained safe during the power outage.
They are Home Depot, the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, Valley View Medical Center, the Bullhead City Fire Department and Mohave Electric Cooperative.
Thank you!
