BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City’s City Clerk’s Department is currently accepting applications from citizens interested in volunteering to serve on the Bullhead City Board of Appeals. There are five available positions on this Board.
The Bullhead City Board of Appeals determines the suitability of alternate materials and construction methods and provides a reasonable interpretation of the International Building Code. This Board meets infrequently on an as-needed basis and is comprised of five members appointed by the City Council for two-year terms. Members serve without pay.
To be eligible, an applicant must be a resident of the City of Bullhead City, and have a general understanding of the issues addressed by the seat they are applying for.

Applications should be submitted to the City Clerk to be considered for appointment by the Bullhead City Council. Submissions can either be mailed or dropped off to the attention of the City Clerk’s Dept., 2355 Trane Road, Bullhead City AZ 86442, or, emailed to sstein@bullheadcityaz.gov.
Appointments are made by the Bullhead City Council. Those submitting applications to the City Clerk prior to January 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. will be considered for appointment at the February 6, 2024, City Council meeting. Applicants are encouraged to attend this meeting.
