Arizona’s 2024 Primary Election Canvass Approved

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (August 8, 2024) – The Mohave County Board of Directors has unanimously (5-0) approved the adoption of Resolution 2024-133 to approve the canvass of the July 30, 2024, Primary Election. 

The vote was held this morning (Thursday, August 8, 2024.) County Elections Director Allen Tempert said, “it wasn’t a perfect election, but none of them are.” However, he emphasized that nothing happened negatively “that made any real difference.” 

After thanking his staff and the many primary election workers, he stated, “it was the most complete, satisfying election I ever ran.” 

Here are the important dates regarding the General Election – November 5, 2024:

  • August 5th – First Day to request an early ballot be mailed 
  • October 7th – Last day to register to vote in the General Election 
  • October 9th – Ballots are mailed to all voters on the Active Early Voting List or those who have requested a one-time ballot by mail 
  • October 9th – In-Person Early Voting begins 
  • October 25th – Last day to request a mail ballot be sent 
  • November 1st – In-Person Early Voting ends (Last day in-person hours are extended 10am-7pm) November 10th– Last Day to cure early or provisional ballot 

Early Voting Locations 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday through the dates listed above at all three locations below.
