BULLHEAD CITY – After several weeks of “beta testing” and several months of preparation and transition, the Bullhead City School District has rolled out a new website. Superintendent Carolyn Stewart, who headed the project, said that it was designed with easier access, simpler searches and better information in mind.
The website is: bcsd.crsk12.org or: https://bcsd.crsk12.org/, depending on the browser (do not use ‘www’). It may still be accessed through the website home page BCSD shares jointly with the Colorado River Union High School District, crsk12.org, but will require an extra click or two to open the new site. “It’s very easy to bookmark or remember our new website,” Stewart said. The new home page has 13 drop-down tabs, each with additional links and information. The goal is for most information to be no more than just a few clicks away with fewer steps than the old website. There are also easier-to-read fonts and graphics, and one-click contact links to reach a number of BCSD departments.
BCSD’s six schools will still be responsible for campus-based websites. Following an extensive competitive review process by Stewart and several BCSD administrators, the District selected Arizona-based School Webmasters to design and manage the new page. School Webmasters is nearly 20 years old and has more than 500 schools and districts across the U.S. as clients.
New information will continue to be added to the website in the coming weeks, Stewart noted.
