Golden Vertex Corp. Donates $1,000 to AOBI High School Welding Shop
Golden Vertex Corp. continues to support the Academy of Building Industries High School (AOBI) by donating $1,000 every semester towards the purchase of welding supplies and materials for the welding courses offered within their onsite welding shop.
Ceremonial Donation
A ceremonial “handing-over” of the check to the welding shop was recently held. The event was attended by Golden Vertex President Joe Bardswich, Technical Services Manager Justin Black, General Manager Mike Fleming, AOBI instructor Rada Drndarski, and several AOBI students.
Invitation to the Moss Mine
During the ceremony, Bardswich expressed his pleasure at witnessing the achievements of AOBI students, describing them as the most respectful and well-mannered high school students he had ever met. Black noted that welders are a crucial part of today’s world and that Golden Vertex currently employs nine welders at the Moss Mine. He invited the students and AOBI staff to take a tour of the mine, which would be conducted by Golden Vertex technical staff.
