Isco Industries grows footprint at the Kingman Industrial Air Park

KINGMAN – In 2019, Isco Industries worked with the City of Kingman Economic Development Team to purchase roughly 6.36 acres adjacent to their current facility as part of a storage yard expansion.
This expansion would provide Isco with the space needed for a future expansion of their current facility in the coming years.
Fast forward to 2022 and Isco has broken ground on an approximately 40,000 square-foot addition, almost doubling its size. Currently, Isco has roughly 48,159 square feet of commercial space and this new expansion will enable the company to move its warehousing capacity to the new building, freeing up approximately 20,000 square feet of production space. Isco anticipates that this increase in capacity will allow it to hire an additional 20 employees over the next couple of years. Between building costs and the addition of new equipment, Isco will be investing more than $6 million into its Kingman plant.
ISCO Industries is a global company that stocks and sells a wide variety of piping materials and provides solutions for various environmental, geothermal, golf, industrial, landfill, mining, municipal, nuclear, waterworks and culvert-lining applications worldwide. ISCO is a family-owned, company with more than 35 facilities in the United States and Canada.
In 2010, ISCO opened a 48,000 sq. ft. facility in the Kingman Industrial Park to serve their west coast customers. Mark Kirchdorfer, ISCO’s President said, “We originally chose Kingman as a site due to the proximity of the U.S. and Canadian markets. Working with the Economic Development Department to purchase of the additional land in 2019 set the stage for our current expansion.
The team at the City of Kingman has been great to work with over the years and as we move forward with this expansion, we are looking forward to growing even more with the city in the coming years. Kingman is one of our four major U.S. hubs and the 2022 expansion in the Kingman Industrial Park will continue to enable Isco Industries to be a leader within our industry.”
Founded in 1882 and incorporated in 1952, Kingman is the county seat of Mohave County located in northwest Arizona along Interstate 40, U.S. 93, and the historically famous Route 66. The city’s population is 28,068, and approximately 60,000 including neighboring communities. Kingman is a general law city that operates under a council/city manager form of government with a mayor and six councilmembers elected at large. City government provides a wide range of municipal services that include administration, development services, engineering, public works, parks and recreation, water, sewer and sanitation services and fire and police safety services.
