KINGMAN – June 18, 2024, at 10 a.m., Mohave Community College (MCC) will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC). The event will take place at Windrose Lane, next to Shelves West (4425 N Windrose Ln, Kingman, AZ 86401), at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park.
The AMTC, a partnership between MCC and the Arizona Commerce Authority, will be the first Future48 Workforce Accelerator in Northwest Arizona. The AMTC will provide vital training and create a pipeline of highly skilled employees, supporting regional industries and communities.”
The 36,000 square-foot facility will feature a design lab, Simulated (SIM) and Virtual Reality (VR) lab, and a Business Incubator/Maker Space. It will house MCC’s Career and Technical Education Division programs, including HVAC, Welding, and Electrical.
The AMTC is expected to be completed by Fall 2025, offering credit, non-credit, and apprenticeship programs in various areas such as Workforce Readiness, Welding, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Robotics, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, and Manufacturing Fundamentals.
